a grain adrift
in an ocean vast
beyond limit of
imagination,

our blue dot home
waits; biding and
crossing time,
whilst all which

call this place home
are trapped; ensnared
in this gilded cage
with no let or out

save that choice,
afforded to
us alone in
loco parentis.
